Children living in the Little Greenbrier section of nearby Sevier County attended both school and church in this log building from 1882-1935.
The building is now part of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and one of the most popular attractions for visitors. Shown at right is Cocke County native Herman Matthews, longtime teacher and Baptist minister.
