PHOENIX -- Funeral services for Viva G. Toungett Blackburn , 88, of Phoenix who died Monday, June 23, in Phoenix will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Emerson Funeral Home.
Jimmy Adcox will officiate and burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Charles Blackburn , Michael Gilliland, Alain Hadorn, Patrick Kinahan, Ron Siegel and Tom White.
Born in Marcella Falls, Tenn., she had lived in Michigan for 33 years before moving to Jonesboro, where she was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ. She moved to Phoenix three years ago.
Survivors include a son, Everett Foster of Taylor, Mich.; two daughters, Myrna Toreno of Virginia Beach, Va., and Ellen Hadorn-Russell of Phoenix; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Pierce of Ocoee, Fla., and Ruby Dossal of Newport, Mich.; three brothers, Austin Tougett of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Henry Toungett of Ethridge, Tenn., and Dumont Toungett of Santa Fe, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Cecil H. Foster and Alvis F. Blackburn , her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
