1. | Robert Alexander Reagan was born 16 Oct 1844, , Cass, Texas. Notes:
Robert A. Reagan moved to Robertson County, Texas in early boy-hood days. At
the age of seventeen, he volunteered his services to the Confederate Army. He
joined the Army while living at Clap's Prairie, Leon County and was sworn in
the Army at Mt. Calm, Hill County, Texas and belonged to Company K., 12 Texas
Cavalry, Captain Jim Brown's Company. He served his Country four years in the
bloody fights of the South during the Civil War.
When he was separated from Service he married. Robert spent his life near Bald
Prairie, Robertson County, Texas on the 1500 acres where the second and third
generations are residing today. He was one of the earliest settlers of
Robertson County, being a Farmer and Stockman by occupation.
Robert A. Reagan was a member of the Church of Christ for forty years and was
interested in all public affairs, which he considered advantageous to his
Country. He grew up in Texas during the last part of the Indian frontier days
and encountered many hardships during his life. Robert A. Reagan is interred
at Duck Creek Cemetery.
