    I, John Baldridge, being far advanced in life, but of sound mind & memory.
    I allow all lawful debts and funeral expenses be paid. I give unto my wife
    Sarah Baldridge the land I now live on, my negro Nance, one horse, two cows
    and calves, my hogs and sheep, and farming tools, household furniture, all
    crops during her natural life or widowhood. "Nance to take care of my silly
    daughter during her natural life that is Polly Clarke." I also allow my
    wife the property and negro girl Harriett that I received from her when we
    married. I allow my mill to be rented and my wife to receive the profits to
    assist in supporting the family. The balance of my property not herein
    mentioned to be sold and divided as follows: $50 to Little Brittain Church.
    I give my son-in-law William McGrove and my daughter Nancy, his wife, $10,
    they having receive their full share. I give to my dau. Rebecca and her son
    Samuel Baldridge, all my mechanical tools, except my smith tools. I give to
    my son-in-law William Porter, & my dau. Peggy, his wife, $500. I give to
    the children of my dau. Betsy, deceased and former wife of Thomas Smart,
    $500. At the decease of my wife I allow my plantation to be sold and at the
    death of my silly daughter, negro Nance and her issue, if any, to be sold,
    and the money divided as follows. Rebecca and her son Samuel one share,
    William Porter and his wife Peggy one share, the children of my dau. Betsy
    one share, my son John Baldridge one share. I give to the heirs of my son
    Doranton Baldridge one share. To my son William Baldridge one share. My son
    Joseph Baldridge one share.I appoint John Carson and Andrew Logan my
    executors.
