Ray H. Tinker, age 79 of Gatlinburg, passed away unexpectedly and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 21, 2008. He was a member of Roaring Fork Baptist Church. Mr. Tinker was owner and operator of Tinker’s Service Center in Gatlinburg for 40 years and had been employed by Gatlinburg Service Center for the past nine years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Josie Tinker; brothers Willard, Freeman, Clyde and Frank Tinker; and sister Beulah Trevena.

Wife of 61 years: Blanche Tinker
Sons: Mike Tinker and wife Alana, Eddie Tinker and wife Roma, all of Gatlinburg
Daughters: Kim Reagan and husband Mike, Karen Gibbs and husband Randall, all of Sevierville
Grandchildren: Mike Tinker, Jr., Scott Tinker, Cynthia Tinker and Edward Tinker
Seven great-grandchildren
Sister: Marjorie Shell

Funeral service 4 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. David Ayers and Rev. Joe Hutchinson officiating. Interment 11 AM Monday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
