Addie Caldwell went home to be with our Lord on February 25, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnie Caldwell, father and mother Ottie and Mae Cagle, great-grandson Dylan Gates.
She is survived by her children Danny and Joyce Caldwell, Dennis and Debbie Caldwell, Wanda and Bob Cates, Linda and Gary Anders all of Newport, and Glenda Caldwell of Knoxville, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, sisters, Marzelle Reece of Cleveland, Toye Messer of Newport, brothers, John Cagle of Sevierville, Lewis Cagle and Norman Cagle of Knoxville, Guynn Cagle of Kentucky, Roy Cagle of Knoxville and Joey Cagle of Newport.
The family deeply appreciates the care she was given from her caregivers, Stella McGaha, Laura Clevenger, Mary Green, and Gwen Styles.
Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2009 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.D. Sisk, Rev. Dennis Caldwell, and Rev. Gary Anders. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clark Cemetery, Deep Gap. The family will receive friends Friday, February 27, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, prior to the service.
