Taylor, age 90 of Newport/Dandridge passed away October 11, 2007. She was the daughter of Edom and Nelle Robinson and the widow of Robert L. Taylor Sr. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nelle Rowe Morell; brother-in-laws, J.C. Morell and Everett Gorrell; infant granddaughter, Julie Taylor. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her two children and their spouses, Robert and Sue Taylor Jr., Patricia and Gerald Stohler all of Knoxville; also survived by grandchildren and spouse, Scott and Michelle Stohler, Christy Taylor, Tara Stohler, Michael Stohler, Lori Taylor Beaty, Brad Taylor; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Tucker Stohler, Tyler Beaty, Amelie Stohler; sisters and spouse, Peggy and Cary McColskey, Jane Gorrell; brother and spouse, Dave and Mae Robinson; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 12 at Browns Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7:30 p.m. Pastor Scott Gorrell officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13 at Union Cemetery, Newport. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to East Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association. Browns Funeral Home in charge.
