Edgar Carlisle Died: 01-17-2005 William Edgar Carlisle, age 78, of Del Rio, passed away Monday, January 17, 2005, at home following a lengthy illness. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Hattie Reece Carlisle. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Opal Carlisle, of Del Rio; sons and daughters-in-law: Roger and Jean Carlisle, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Perry and Debbie Carlisle, of Del Rio; William Roy and Phyllis Carlisle, of Del Rio; daughter and son-in-law: Shirley and Dennis Glaze, of Cloverdale, Ind.; grandchildren: Mark Carlisle, of Va.; Jamin Carlisle, of Knoxville; Amanda Hill, of Hartford; Chad Carlisle and Melanie Bryant, of Del Rio; Phillip and Christopher Williamson, of Newport; and five wonderful great-grandchildren; and very special cousins, Marie Brown, of Oak Ridge, and Viva Smith, of Del Rio. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Murr and the Dr. Frank Bell officiating, with burial 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Clark Cemetery.
