Retired owner and operator of North Central Barber Shop. Veteran of WWII. Survivors: loving wife of 70 years, Nettie Marshall Holt, of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Ken Idol, of Raleigh, NC; granddaughter, Stephine Idol Cline (Todd); grandson, Todd Kevin Idol (Kim), both of Charlotte, NC; great-grand-children, Thad Idol, Zachary Cline, and Sarah Cline; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Chapel with Brother Bryant Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment.
