She was a devoted member of the Glendale United Methodist Church and became a L.P.N. at age 55 and retired from Morristown Hamblen Hospital. She was a member of the Warrensburg Eastern Star for 50 plus years. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eunice Holt Sawyer. Husband, Herbert Blaine Davis son, Joe H. Davis, sisters Marie Sawyer, Alta Palmer and twin brothers Claude and Clarence Sawyer. She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws, Wayne and Betty Davis of Russellville, Ronnie and Barbara Davis of Newport, daughter Carolyn Cook of Fort Worth, TX. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday June 11, 2007 at the Glendale United Methodist Church, family will receive friends 12:00 till 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Glendale Cemetery Manes Funeral Home in Charge
