Paul V. Rogers, 78, of Del Rio, went to be with his Lord Saturday morning, November 1, 2003, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Church of God faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brian and Manilla (Stills) Rogers; son-in-law, Gary Kelley; and several sisters and brothers.
He is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law: Paulette Kelley, of Del Rio; Pat and Larry Sawyer, of Spring Creek, N.C.; and Jeanne Rogers; one son, Ronnie Rogers, of Wolf Creek; grandchildren: Jennifer, Adam, Jeff, Travis, Ginger, and Amy; great-grandchildren: Justin, Devin, Grace, and Jenna Paige. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Also a special ‘thank you’ to Larry (Ralph) Sawyer.
The family received friends Sunday, November 2, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel. Funeral service was conducted at 8 p.m.
Graveside service was conducted Monday at Wolf Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Ashley officiating.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to make the final arrangements for Mr. Paul V. Rogers.
