He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pigeon Forge, TN and a veteran of WW II. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Josephine and David Langan and brother Donald Langan. Survivors include his: Wife of 55 years: Kathleen Langan Daughter: Kathy Porter of Sevierville Sons: Robert Langan and wife Karin of Knoxville, TN, John Langan of Memphis, TN Grandchildren: Trey and Katie Porter of Sevierville, Christy and Shawn Langan of Florida, Jake and Max Langan of Knoxville Four Great-grandchildren Sister-in-law: Patsy Williams and husband Roger of New York Several nieces and nephews In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 144 Wears Valley Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. A Funeral Mass will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jay Flaherty officiating. Entombment will follow in The Holy Cross Mausoleum of Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
