He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Lula Henry, of Parrottsville; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Diana Henry, of Portsmouth, VA; four sisters, Bobbie, Helen, Trisha, and Erin; grandchildren, Lauren, Katelyn, and Ashley Henry, of Portsmouth, VA. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Hartsell officiating with burial 1:00 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville, TN.
