Arnold Ball, age 77, of Del Rio, and a member of Sand Hill Church of God in Jesus Name, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 1010 at Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Della Mae Ball; father, Oliver Ball and step-mother, Rosa Ball. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jewelene Ball; daughter Debbie Ball Carbaugh; sons, Tommy Ball and wife Tracey, and Ronnie Ball and wife Marilyn; grandchildren, Houston Carbaugh, Kirby Ball, Shawna Kate, Dustin Dale and C. J. Ball; brother, R. C. Ball; sisters, Irene Williams and Imogene Turner and husband Ailor; six step grandchildren; many small children from community and church, especially Levi Dunn, Kinley Coggins and Addington Pack, a host of lifelong friends and co-workers from Stokely Van Camp. Church, family and ‘working hard’ were most important to Arnold, but His ‘Grands” were the highlight of his life. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 8:00 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Bobby Napier and Reverend Reggie Allen conducting the funeral service. Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Old 15th Road, Del Rio, Tennessee; pallbearers will be Chuck Jenkins, Dustin Dale Ball, Huston Carbaugh, Nate Carbaugh, Travis Carbaugh and Bob Carbaugh.
