Pack, age 60, of Del Rio, passed away Friday evening, June 15, 2001, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, following a lengthy illness. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and she will be sadly missed by her relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Deliliah Ball. She attended Sand Hill Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Ruble Pack, Sr., of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Carroll and Shelia Pack, of Parrottsville; son, Jack Ruble Pack, Jr., of Bybee; grandchildren, Jared Pack and Zachary Pack, both of Parrottsville; sisters, Betty Lou Ellis, of Cleveland, Ohio, Ila Lee Messer, of Newport, and Novia Muse, of Waynesville, NC; brothers, T.D. Ball, of Cosby, Roy Ball, R.J. Ball, Danny Ball, Bobby Ball, and Denver Ball, all of Parrottsville. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tommy Ball officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2001, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church of your choice.
