Frank L. Pack, Sr., 77, of Del Rio, went to be with his Lord Sunday, January 29, 2006.
Frank was a Pentecostal by faith and retired from Brockwell Construction after 24 years of service. He was also a former member of the County Court.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah C. and Kate Fish Pack, and one sister-in-law, Irolla Pack.
Mr. Pack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Clararene Pack, of the home; five children, Dennis and daughter-in-law Denise Pack, of Houston, TX; Frank Lee Pack, Jr., of Newport; Linda and son-in-law Randy Reed, of Hot Springs, NC; Melissa and son-in-law Tim Strom, of Del Rio; and Darrell and daughter-in-law LuCindy Pack, of Newport.
He is also survived by two sisters, Gladys and brother-in-law Joe Turner and Jewelene and brother-in-law Arnold Ball, both of Del Rio; three brothers, J.C. and sister-in-law Peggy Pack, of Cosby; Everett and sister-in-law Irene Pack, of Del Rio; and Jack Pack, of Del Rio.
Frank will also be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren, Holly Pack, Addam and Aaron Pack, Wendy Pack, Josh Pack, Ashley Reed, Derek Reed, Lori and Carlos Gilland and Cody Strom; four great-grandchildren, Makena Faria, Kaylee Pack, Madaline Pack, and Kyler Weatherby.
He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 1, 2006, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tois Seay, Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. Tommy Ball officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Clark Cemetery, Deep Gap.
