Forrest I. (Mac) McNabb, of East Brainerd, died Monday morning at a local hospital.
A native of Newport, Mr. McNabb had lived in Chattanooga for the past 35 years.
He was an active member and deacon at the Hickory Valley Christian Church and had served on the church board. He was retired owner and operator of Quality Cleaners in Soddy-Daisy and was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in World War II.
He was a member of the Star Twirlers Square Dance Club.
At the time of his death, he was employed with Hertz Enterprises.
He was the son of the late Aubrey and Lois McNabb.
Survivor is his wife, Betty J. McNabb.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Dale Lovelady officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Newport at 5 p.m. EST. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service on Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga.
