Arthur Glenn Lewis, 85, of Timberville, VA, died December 5, 2011, at his residence.He was born October 14, 1926, in Dandridge, TN and was the son of the late Ceton Loyd and Olie Mae Lichlyter Lewis.He was retired from British Aerospace. He was a member of the Happy Hillclimbers Club, Tri-county AACA and of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.On March 5, 1948 he married the former Frances Irene Johnson who survives.In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons; Ronnie Lewis of Cebu Philippines, Dale Lewis of Richmond, VA, Michael Lewis of Gainesville, VA and Jeff Lewis of Harrah, OK; five sisters: Pauline Lee of La Mesa, CA, Georgia Mae Phillips of Newport, TN, Mattie Nell Sather of La Mesa, CA, Betty Jean Freeman of Newport, TN, and Mary Lou Mann of Cleveland, TN; two brothers: J.B. Lewis of Knoxville, TN and Brownlow Lewis of Parrottsville, TN; fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.The body was cremated and there will be a memorial service at a later date.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.GrandleFuneralHome.com.
