She will be remembered by the hundreds of students that she taught during her 42 years with the Cocke County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Cureton. She was the daughter of the late Earl G. Miller and Jannie Hogan Miller. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jessie Earl Miller. She is survived by her daughters, Charlene, of Knoxville, and Barbara, of Asheville, NC, and her granddaughter, Serena Aileen, of New Orleans, LA. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive from 6 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home. Manes in charge.
