(July 2, 1952 - December 23, 2013) U.S. Veteran Steve Keller, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 23, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the National Guard as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Maggie Keller; father and mother-in-law, George and Verna Askew; Sister-in-law, Irene Shelton; brother-in-law, Steward “Smiley” Shults. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Karen Askew Keller; son, Shannon (Heather) Askew; daughters, Natasha (Adam) Hartsell and Terra (Travis) Thomas; brothers, Billy Shelton, Johnny Keller, Fred “Kent” (Charlene) Keller, William “Clyde” (Lori) Keller, Cecil “Spanky” (Robin) Keller; sisters, Nancy Shults; Six Grandchildren, Dawson, Brycen, and Hayden Hartsell and Kyra, Ashton, and Stevie Thomas; Special friends, Pastor Troy Duncan, Pastor Tom Huskey, and Terry Ottinger. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a host of brother and sister-in-laws, many friends, and a loving church family. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 26, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday, December 27 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
