He attended Parrottsville Memorial Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Walter and Mamie Lucille Hawk Mooneyham. He is survived by his wife, Rhunette Mooneyham, of Newport; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Norma Jean Mooneyham, Marcus and Shirley Mooneyham, all of Newport; Denver and Bobbie Mooneyham, of Morristown; sisters, Dora Elizabeth Wilhoit, of Greeneville; Sarah Jean Shepherd, of Greeneville; Gwendolyn Gregg, of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Sammie Kate and Marvin Cook, of California City, CA; several nieces, nephews, and special friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Smith and Rev. Manson Lee officiating. Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery. L/CPL Charles Roberts DAV Chapter 102 conducting military rites. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the services. Manes in charge.
