Joyce Ann Robbins, of The Reeds Creek Community, Rt. 1, Keokee, Va., was born in Cocke Co., Tennessee, on Sunday, Oct. 1, 1944. She passed away Sunday, Feb.18, 2007, at her residence, Rt. 1, Keokee, Va., at the age of 62. Joyce was a retired Quality Control Operator, Cadillac Division, General Motors, and was the Worthy Matron of the Powell Valley Chapter #13, Order of The Eastern Star of Pennington Gap, Va., and was a Member of the Meadow Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Rt. 1 Keokee, Va. She had lived in Michigan before moving to Lee County Va., 10 years ago. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Creed and Minnie Lee Seay, and brother, Ois Seay. She is survived by her husband, Verlin "Buster" Robbins, of the home; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Robbins, of Pennington Gap, Va.; sons, Verlin Glen Robbins, Jr., of Keokee, Va., and Franklin Creed Robbins, of Keokee, Va.; six grandchildren, Verlin III, Vanessa, Daja, Christian, Karmmie and Alaina; brothers, Mois Seay, of Bellville, Mich.; Tois Seay, of Newport, Tenn.; and Edgar Seay, of Springfield, Tenn.; sisters, Iris Queener, of Summertown, Tenn.; Lois Willis, of Yulee, FL., Rois Mae Seay, of Springfield, Ohio, and Mary Ruth Shulaw, of Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral Service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary, in Pennington Gap, with the Rev. David Parsons and the Rev. Tois Seay officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Anderson Cemetery, Rt. 1 Keokee, Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM to go to the cemetery.
