ZELMER R. BANKS, Sr., 76, of Pittsgrove Township, died Saturday at South Jersey Hospital System, Millville Division.
He worked at Owen-Illinois, Kimble Division for 30 years, retiring in 1977.
Mr. Banks was a member of the Good News Assembly of God Church, Bridgeton.
Born in Newport, Tenn., he lived in Pittsgrove Township for 50 years.
Surviving are his wife, Edna; two sons, Zelmer R. Jr. of Vineland and William E. of Millville; a daughter, Sandra Rosenkraus, of Eldora, Iowa; a brother, Edgar of Spartanburg, S.C.; six sisters, Zora Mae Zursehmeids, Dove Burton, Betty Ruth, Nomai Hoppes and Nora Lyles, all of Spartanburg, S.C., and Elsie Gentry of Texas; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Good News Assembly of God Church, Big Oak Road and Holly Avenue, Bridgeton.
Burial will be in Olivet Cemetery.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Pancoast Funeral Home, Vineland.
