Doris Chambers Stinnett age 61 of Maryville passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Dora and William Robert Dailey, Joshua and Marinda Chambers; father, Oscar Harold Chambers. Survivors include her husband, David Russell Stinnett; son and daughter-in-law, Spencer Shea Chambers Stinnett and Stephanie Magargle-Stinnett; mother, Lola Kate Dailey Chambers; sister and brother-in-law, Janice Chambers Gilland and David; sister-in-law, Devaughn and Jerry Jones. The family would like to thank everyone who has extended their prayers during this difficult time. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the Smith West Chapel with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Grandview Cemetery for the interment following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Tennessee, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 983-1000.
