Beulah Gregory, age 77 of Newport, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Houston Gregory, Sr.; parents, Clifford and Lucille Gilliland; and great-granddaughter, Gillian Gregory. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Katy Sue (Jerry) Bowlin and Teresa (Jacky) Askew; sons and daughters-in-law, Fred Houston (Merita) Gregory, Jr. and Barry (Buffy) Gregory; grandchildren and spouses, April (Brandon) Devotie, Stacy Gregory, Fred Houston (Tiffany) Gregory III, Ashley Gregory, and Chasity Gregory; great-grandchildren, Sabastian Devotie, Dana Gregory, Aiden Gregory, Emily Gregory, and Ronan Gregory; and Beulah’s beloved puppy, Friday. She is also survived by sisters and brothers, Barbara Jenkins, Dorothy Hansel, Kenneth (Norma) Gilliland, and David Gilliland. Additional survivors include extended family, friends, and church family at First Christian Church. Funeral Service will be at 8:00 pm Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Manes Funeral Home West Chapel with Brother Martin Stump, Pastor Bob Hogan, and Rev. Rick Clevenger officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 am on Friday, April 29, 2016 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday at Manes Funeral Home West Chapel prior to the funeral service.
