Gary S. Allen, age 58, of Del Rio, passed away, Wednesday, April 21, 2010, and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Nelle Allen, brothers, Wilbur Allen, Jr and Charles Bud Allen. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Reggie and Laura Allen, Adam and Stacy Allen; grandchildren, Faith and Hannah Allen; brother and sister-in-law, Owen and Viola Allen; sister and brother-in-law, Willian and Wiley Stokely; sister, Lynn Russell; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Charles Sawyer; sister, Margaret Sorrell; nieces and nephews, Dennis and Kathy Allen, Denise and Mark Kennedy, Cheryl Palermo, Lisa and Greg Nix, Burnie Russell and Jennifer Nunez, Charlie Sawyer, Stephanie and Tyler Shelton, Brian and Lisa Sorrell, Craig Sorrell, Jennifer and Kevin Holt, Chuckie and Mary Ellen Allen; fourteen great nieces and nephews; special friends Duane Finchum, Vickie Walker, John and Kim, and Don Jones. Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ernest Sawyer officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Saturday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 1709 Blue Mill Road, Del Rio, following the service.
