She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Earl Young and Calvin Hugh Barrett; and parents, Bailey and Leah Cogdill. She is survived by her children, Dwayne (Peggy) Barrett; John David (Kelly) Young; Betty Barrett (Paul) Huston and Sharon Barrett; grandchildren, Jessica Huston Stokley; Aaron Huston, Leah Thornton. Calvin Thornton, Erin Marie Young, Charity Rae Reed and Zachary Miller; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday, September 12, 2014 with Funeral Services to follow in Manes Funeral Home West Chapel, with Rev. Leon Large officiating. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, September 15, 2014 in Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
