Beatrice Turner, age 97, of Del Rio went to be with the Lord Saturday morning April 30, 2005 at Mariner Health in Newport.
Beatrice was a precious grandmother and great grandmother, homemaker and a member of Fugate Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wesley Turner; parents, Joseph Steven and Carrie Ann Sexton Stokely; and one son, Gordon Turner.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Elmer and Theresa Turner, Ola Turner Ramsey, Lyndon and Nancy Turner and Todd and Crystal Turner, eleven great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Steven, Amanda, Britteny, Jessica, Cody, Tori, Brandon, Wesley and Dillon Turner and Cortnee Pack; two great-great-grandchildren, Hyde and Carly Turner; special niece, Stella Lunsford of Del Rio; daughter-in-law, Elizebeth Turner Loyd; and a special grand-daughter-in-law, Sharon Turner and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday May 1, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Sawyer officiating. Burial will be in Jones Town Cemetery in Del Rio.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Beatrice Turner.
