U.S. Veteran Donald (Kuz) Worley, age 61, of Hartford, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at home, from complications of cancer. Donald served in the Job Corp, National Guard and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Donald loved his family and friends. He was a free spirit who loved the outdoors and lived life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Worley; father, Willie G. Worley; sister, Imogene Petery; brother, Willie B. Worley; nephew, Jeff Jenkins; and brother-in-law, Houston Stokely. He is survived by wife, Willa Dean Worley; son, Donald Travis Worley; daughter Stephanie Worley Holt and husband Chad Holt; brother, Arnold Worley and his wife Jannie Mae; sisters, Nona Stokely, and Lora Mae Stokely and her husband R. L. Stokely; mother-in-law, Rosie Black; also a special friend, Junior Murrell. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, March 15, 2013 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. William Clark and Rev. Danny Greene officiating. The burial will follow in Blacks Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Friday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
