Hubert Garland Ensley, age 55, of Harriman, TN, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002, at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was a veteran having served in the United States Marines. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Garland H. Ensley. He is survived by his son, Hubert G. Ensley Jr. and wife, Stacy, of Harriman; daughter, Angelia Ensley, of Harriman; grandson, Hunter and granddaughter, Britney; mother, Lesten Ensley, of Kingston; sisters, Tessie E. Martin and husband, Eddie, of Kingston, Marie Bernard and husband, Thomas, of Maryville, and Viva Bacon and husband, Mike, of Kingston; brothers, Rex Harrison Ensley, of Kingston and Patrick Lee Ensley and wife, Dee, of Powell; also numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral was held 8 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Murr officiating. Burial will be held 10 a.m. Sunday, June 30, 2002, in the Family Cemetery in Del Rio, with L/Cpl Charles C. Roberts DAV Chapter 102 conducting military rites. The family received friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service. Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
