He was a member of Dupont Baptist Church and the Andrew Sunday School Class. Mr. Loveday was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from Alcoa and was a member of the Alcoa 25 year club. Mr. Loveday also was the caretaker of Dupont Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Wanda Lopasser Loveday, infant son, William, parents, Homer and Flora Hardin Loveday, brother, James Loveday, and sister Mildred Hoover.
