She was thought to be the oldest living former resident of Cades Cove. She was the oldest living member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Jackson Roberts; parents, Jesse S. and Rutha Brown; stepmother, Naomi Brown; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Jennie Brown, Melvin and Mary Brown; sister and brother-in-law, Mike and Mary Tipton and stepsister, Faye and Ralph Ratledge. She is survived by sons and wives, Henry H. and Mary Kay Roberts and Charles W. and Mary Gene Roberts; half-brothers and wives, Jesse S. Brown, Jr. and Lucille, and Noah Howard and Bernice Brown; five grandchildren, Joyce Garmeson, William W. Roberts, Jeffrey Gordon Roberts, Kent Stephen Roberts and Dawn Lea Bailes; several great grandchildren and a number of special nieces and nephews. The body is at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday with a memorial service at 8:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Greg Long and Rev. Ted E.
