He loved Harley motorcycles, fishing, and family. He was preceded in death by his father, James Wave Owens; step-mother, Wilma Owens; step-father, Alvin Owens; grandparents, Vonnie and Leona Owens, Charles Edward Pickel, and Sandy Morris; step-brothers, Chip and Glenn Owens; and uncle, Arthur Pickel. Jimmy is survived by his son, Jedidiah Owens and his significant other, Sarah Hatfield; mother, Mary Frances Owens; grandmother, Phyllis Morris; brother, Danny Owens; half-brother, Jamie Owens; step-sister, Nancy Hurst and husband, Rick; step-brothers, Johnny Owens and wife, Mary, and Alan Owens; special sister-in-law, Kathy Owens; beloved niece, Danielle McCarter and husband, Casey, and their children, Max, Khloe, and Chase; beloved nephews, John Christopher Owens, Tristan Owens Josh Owens, and Alvin Owens; close friend that was loved as a sister, Leslie Cates; and a host of loving extended family members and friends.
