She was born on September 10, 1935. Mrs. Johnson was retired from the chiropractic office of the late Dr. Clarke B. Walker and also from the Sevier County School System Food Service Department with many years of service at the Seymour Middle School Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Susie Ellen Smelcer, her brothers Murel, Roy, Raymond, Wendell, Charles, and Alvin Smelcer, and her sisters Catherine Whaley, Mayme Lewis, Nannie Allen, and Anna Mae Smelcer. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 62 years Bert Lee Johnson, her son Steven Lee Johnson and her sister Zelma Breeden, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside service 11 AM Tuesday at Knob Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Metts officiating.
