Dishman, Daniel Calloway – age 72, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2008. He was an active member of Hilltop Baptist Church, proudly served 20 years in the National Guard and a retired employee of Knox County Schools. He was preceded in death by father, Timothy Dishman, mother, Nannie Brown Dishman, brothers, J.B., Kenneth, and Carlos Dishman. He is survived by wife of 54 years, Frances E.; sister, Florence Harvey; daughter and son-in-law; Linda and David DeVan; daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Charles Godfrey, Jr.; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A special thanks to the Tennessee Cancer Specialists. Funeral service is 8:00 pm Thursday with Rev. Kyle Shell officiating. Family will meet Friday at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Anderson County 10:45 am for interment service at 11:00. Military honors will be provided by Volunteer State Honor Guard. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
