OGLE, MAYFORD - age 82 of Andersonville, passed away 3:40 p.m. April 28, 2001 at home. He was a member of Fort Hill Baptist Church and a US Army veteran of World War II serving 4 years, 8 months in Germany during the Battle of the Bulge.
Survivors: wife, Trula Ogle; sons, Steve Harrison and Jerry Beason; grandchildren, David Beason and Gill & Jerry Lynn, twins of Washington state; brother, Carl Ogle; sisters, Louise Yardley and Pearl Fleck; several nieces, nephews; brothers in law, and sisters in law whom he loved very much; special friends, Jason Stone, Richard Johnson, Jean Chaney, Kyle Ridenour and Bobby Flatford. Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday Mynatt's Chapel. Rev. Burney Hutchinson, Rev. Jack Walker officiating. Family & friends will meet at Hutchinson Cemetery (Byrams Fork Rd.) at 10 a.m. Tuesday for graveside service. Military honors will be presented by East Tenn. Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Mynatt's.
