REV. CLYDE OGLE 96, long time resident of Greer, SC died Feb. 3, 2004, at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, FL. A native of Bradley County, Cleveland, Tenn., a son of the late Kimsey U. and Bertie Atchley Ogle , he was a retired Church of God minister serving for more than 65 years in Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. He served as Honorary Associate Pastor and was a charter member of Praise Cathedral Church of God in Greer, SC.
Surviving are twin daughters, Jo Ogle Styles of Greer, SC and Jean Ogle White of Juno Beach, FL; a brother, Claude Ogle of Cleveland, TN; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; son-in-law, John B. White of Juno Beach, FL and former son-in-law, Padgett R. Styles of Greer, SC.
Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. Sunday at Praise Cathedral, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Madden. Burial will follow at Wood Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Clyde Duane Styles, Ray Styles, John White, Jr., Scott White, David White, Randy Waldrop, Justin Styles and Brad Styles. Church of God Retired Ministers and wives will serve as Honorary escot. Memorials may be made to Praise Cathedral, P.O. Box 287, Greer, SC 29652.
