Ted was a dedicated father, husband, grandfather and brother. He had been employed with the Sevierville Police Department for 27 years, serving the last ten years as lead detective of the Criminal Investigation Division. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Sevierville Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father Waymon Agee; mother Isaphene Agee Laney and step-father Minyard Laney. Survivors: Wife: Shirley Agee Sons: Kevin Agee and wife Paula, Tim Agee Grandchildren: Tyler, Logan, AmberLee and Shane Agee Brother: Tommy Agee and wife Ruth Sisters: Anna Faye Hill and husband Mel, Sue Jones and husband Jerry Many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins Funeral service 2 PM Saturday at the Sevierville Church of Christ with Minister John Daniels and Len McElyea officiating.
