WATSON, CARROLL REECE - age 68, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2003 at 3:15 a.m. at his home with his loving family at his side. A loving and devoted husband, father, brother, papaw and great papaw. He served 22 ½ years in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War and 28 years with United Van Lines. Preceded in death by mother and father, Mary and Leonard Watson brothers, Wilford, Robert Jr., and Carl sisters, Mary Sue Rader, Lela Davenport, Shirley Rush. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Barbara Jean devoted sons and daughters-in-law, William and Gloria, Steve and Patty daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Lindsey Neff daughters, Teresa Cupp and Marty Allison, all of Knoxville, Carol Ann and Scott Davis of Tombstone, AZ, Charlotte and Jeff Engle of Huntington Beach, CA brother, Charles sisters, Peggy Loveday, Mildred Davenport, Judy and Pink Jennings 19 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews life long friend, Earl Street, Jr. and Rick Woods. The family would like to express their thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff on the 8th Floor of Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center, and to the Hospice Health Care. He will be in our hearts always. Service 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home, with Rev. Harvey Harmon officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:30 a.m. Monday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, with East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard presenting honors. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and employees of Armstrong Relocation, United Van Lines. Family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home.
