Dunn, age 75 of Rockford passed away Thursday July 24, 2008, at his home. He was a faithful member of the Morning Star Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon for many years. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Minnie Dunn; a sister, Carolyn Dunn Potter, and a brother, Murrell Dunn, of Oak Ridge. He is survived by: Wife of over 49 years: Maxine Roberson Dunn of the home Two sons: Phillip Grant Dunn and wife Debbie, Gregory Alan Dunn and fiancée Beverly Freriches, all of Maryville One daughter: Melissa Dawn Dunn, of the U.S. Army He has two grandsons, Logan Reid Dunn and Jacob Grant Dunn and one granddaughter, Montana Brooke Dunn, all of Maryville. He has one brother, Rex Dunn and wife Brenda, one sister, Clara Lee Dunn of Maryville Funeral service 7PM Saturday July 26th in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with the Rev. James Ogle and Rev. Albert Oliver officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Saturday prior to the funeral. Interment will be 2PM Sunday in Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
