W.C. Kerr, age 85 of Sevierville, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge where he loved his Sunday School Class and devoted many years of service to the children’s nursery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Sevier Masonic Lodge #334, where he was a Worshipful Master. He worked at Food City for 10 years after retiring from Cherokee Textile Mills with 25 years of service. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mack and Nora Kerr, daughter and son-in-law Linda Kerr and Don Lytle, son-in-law Ron Fain, sisters Anah Lewelling and Lois Campbell, and twin brothers Conley and McKinley Kerr.

Funeral service 7:30 PM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. W.W. Cope, Rev. Jeff Brooks, and Rev. Wayne Cook officiating. Interment 11 AM Saturday in Boyd’s Creek Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #104. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 5-7:30 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville.
