Maples, Clifford Eddie (Tip), age 65, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. He attended Dupont Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Edna Maples; several brothers and sisters. Survived by brothers and wives, Clinton Maples, Glen and Shelia Maples, Gene and Diane Maples; sisters and husbands, Geraldine and Jim Ray, Shirley Parksey, and Ruby and Jearl Dixon; special friend, Dot Hutton; several nieces and nephews; special cousins, Gary and Linda Stevens. The service will be on Thursday, August 26, 2010, in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Robert Branch officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
