Carl Clettes Dockery, 51, of Chestnut Hill, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. He was a construction worker and farmer and was a Baptist by faith. His father, Carl Dockery and one infant brother and two infant sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Lois Byrd Dockery, of Chestnut Hill; daughter, Lori Dockery, of Chestnut Hill; son, Christopher Dockery, of Chestnut Hill; mother, Ebbie Romines Dockery, of Chestnut Hill; grandson, Ethan Dockery, of Chestnut Hill; brothers, Clifton Dockery and Ledford Dockery, both of Chestnut Hill. Mr. Dockery will also be missed by several aunts, cousins, and a host of special friends. Funeral service will be Friday, July 25, 2003, at 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Graveside service will be Saturday morning, July 26, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Birchfield Memorial. The family will receive friends Friday evening, July 25, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service. Brown Funeral home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mr. Carl Clettes Dockery.
