George C. (Buddy) McGhee, IV, 77, of Luttrell passed away at his home Tuesday March 8, 2005. He was retired from U.T. Animal Sciences Dept. with 37 years service, 21 years as instructor and research tech. and 16 years as research assistant and poultry farm management. A graduate of U.T. with a B.S. in animal science and major in poultry science. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. McGhee was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Preceded in death by his father, George C McGhee III; mother, Ruth McGhee Humphries; step-father, John Humphries

Wife of 52 years, Beulah McCarter McGhee of Luttrell
Sons; George C McGhee V and wife Judy and Dennis A McGhee and wife Teresa of Luttrell
Grandsons; George Cameron McGhee VI and wife Adrian, of Knoxville, William (Joseph) McGhee of Luttrell, Dennis (Adrian) McGhee, Jr., Aaron Cory McGhee of Luttrell

Great Granddaughter; Gwyneth Chandler McGhee who at 5 months of age took a special place in great grand pops heart

Funeral service 8 PM Thursday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Rev. Ron Russell officiating. Interment 1 PM Friday in Boyd’s Creek Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 104. Pall Bearers; George C. McGhee V, Dennis A. McGhee, George C. McGhee VI, William Joseph McGhee, Dennis Adrian McGhee, Jr., Aaron Cory McGhee, Tom Sherlin, Josh Booker, and Glen Miller.
