Delmas (Del) Frank Harai, 68, went to be with his Lord Sunday morning, August 31, 2003, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Harai was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church and a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Ruby (Burnhimer) Harai, of Ohio, and two brothers, Lewis and Baby Harai.
Mr. Harai is survived by his wife of 28 years, Vamila (McMahan) Harai, of the home; children, Del Marie and husband, Tim Burke, of Jefferson, OH; step-children, Ruby and husband, Clyde McGaha, of Cosby; Patricia and husband, Don Spurgeon, of Cosby; Mitchell Presnell, of Whitesburg; Chester Presnell, of Cosby; Kathy and husband, Martin Farmer, of Loudon; Janice Allen, of Cosby; Darrell and wife, Marietta Presnell, of Cosby; and Lindsey and wife, Chandra Presnell, also of Cosby; one grandson, Kevin Burke, of Jefferson, OH; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many special friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, September 2, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Ransom Hall and Rev. Cline Franklin officiating.
Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, September 3, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Large Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to make final arrangements for Mr. Delmas Frank Harai.
