George Henry DeLozier, 79, of Sevierville, died Monday, April 1, 2002, at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee in Knoxville.He was a lifetime farmer and served on the ASCS County Committee.He was a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army-Air Force 99th Bomb Group in Foggia, Italy during World War II.He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Irene Widner DeLozier; a brother and two sisters. His parents were William T. and Laura Creswell DeLozier.He is survived by his brother-in-law, Joe Widner and wife Lillie; sister-in-law, Helen Smith; brother-in-law, Bill Smith; nephews, George Creswell, Jerry Widner; and nieces, Tammy Frasure, Joette Begue, Susie Ellison.Graveside service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3 at Boyds Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Dallas Gibson officiating. Interment will follow the service.
