October 25, 1949 - December 29, 2017
Eddie L. Tinker, age 68 of Gatlinburg, departed this temporal life for his eternal home in Heaven on Friday, December 29, 2017. He is now face to face with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge. Eddie retired after 49 years of dedicated service with AT&T and Bell South. He loved to read and was a historian at heart. His wide range of interests included Biblical and military history, along with classic film and television, hiking, cars, and being outdoors. Most of all, he was an adventurous husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Blanche Tinker.

Wife of 50 years: Roma C. Tinker
Son: Edward Tinker and wife Lisa
Daughter: Cynthia Tinker
Grandchildren: Mary Kathryn Tinker, Matthew Tinker, and Elizabeth Tinker
Brother: Mike Tinker and wife Alana
Sisters: Kim Reagan and Karen Gibbs
Aunt: Dot McFalls Carr
Nephews: Mike and Belinda Tinker, Scott and Angie Tinker
Special friend and nephew: Garrett King
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Freedom Baptist Church Bible Fund,
P.O. Box 1046, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Freedom Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Ed Parton and Rev. Lee Carr officiating.
