He was a Christian and attended Roaring Fork Baptist Church, Cartertown Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge. He was a member of and inspiring mentor in Alcoholics Anonymous. He was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Ann Trentham, who died December 22, 1943. Survivors: Parents: Virgil L. and Mattie B. Trentham Brothers and Sisters: Tommy L.
