Virgil Edward “Ed” Trentham, age 41 of Gatlinburg, died May 19, 2003. A 1979 graduate of Gatlinburg Pittman High School, he attended and graduated from Carson Newman College in 1984. He was a Christian and attended Roaring Fork Baptist Church, Cartertown Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge. He was a member of and inspiring mentor in Alcoholics Anonymous. He was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Ann Trentham, who died December 22, 1943.
