She was preceded in death by son, Richard Lane. She is survived by daughters, Mable Hightower of Newport and Fannie Folsom of Morristown; sons, Hubert and Burnett Lane of Newport; sisters, Ruby Shoemaker of Newport and Edith Mills of Charlotte, North Carolina; also 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Manes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Hal Kirk and Rev. J.D. Sisk officiating. Interment will be in the Open Door Cemetery.
