He was preceded in death by his wife Nina McCarter Myers, granddaughter, Melena Brackins, and parents, Eva and Mell Myers, Sr. Survivors include his children: David Myers and wife Esmy, Jane Brackins and husband Jim, Barbra Anthony and husband Jack; Grandchildren: Thomas Brackins, Ben Myers, Nina Myers; Great-grandchildren: Keeley, Kendall, Kayla, and Khloe Brackins; Brothers: Clell Myers and wife Betty, Jerry Myers, Harry Myers In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Melena’s Clothes Closet, c/o Northview Primary School, 3293 Douglas Dam Rd., Kodak, TN 37764.
